Although most cosmetic surgery procedures are performed in our surgical facility using straight local anesthesia or coupling it with intravenous sedation or under general anesthesia, some major procedures would necessitate hospitalization. Patients with major medical problems are also advised hospitalization. Plastic surgery for correction of a functional problem is usually covered by health insurance plans, however cosmetic surgery is usually not. For all procedures, fees are determined on an individual case basis and will be discussed during the initial consultation.
Other than cash or a cashier's check, payment by a personal check is accepted at least 10 working days before the scheduled surgery. We accept a payment by major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Care Credit. Arrangements for financing with major financial institutions at competitive rates are also offered in our facility.
Financial matters and other arrangements including a blood test and pre-operative instructions are taken care of at the time of scheduling. Preoperative photographs are taken and will be part of the patient's medical record. According to I.R.S. Ruling 76-532 the total cost of all plastic surgery procedures is 100% tax deductible as a medical expense on your Federal and State tax return.
